ADVENTURES

Don Panzik has been first and foremost a musician & songwriter. He has built his life around his passion in these areas, however Don has others to observe. This page will attempt to go over a variety of these different skills Mr. P has picked up over the years. If you spot something missing, be sure to email me.

FISHING & BOATING
First picked up from his parents as a youth. From pier fishing to lake and sea fishing. This includes flounder gigging, clamming, scalloping, crab trapping, surf fishing, trolling, netting, spearing, fly fishing and even spear gunning.
FARMER
Oh yes. Don spent part of his teenage years working on the tobacco farms in North Carolina. That's back before tobacco got a bad rap. Now all the North Carolina tobacco farms are cotton fields. But nevertheless, Don acquired the skills of tobacco farming, curing and of course smoking. He no longer does any of these at the time of this writing.
RETAILER
A five year service pin was given to Don in 1983 at Winn Dixie stores. Don was a bag boy, stock clerk as well as a dairy and frozen foods clerk. But his biggest passion in the grocery business was the produce department. Don enjoyed produce so much that he found himself back in the produce business at other stores during his down time as a musician, including at Pueblo in the Virgin Islands.
DISC JOCKEY
This subject is to be well covered on the Entertainer Page as are the many aspects of this business. But we will include here the fact that Don did his first DJ work (as an amatuer) when he was 14 years old. He would hook up his stereo and wire speakers out on his front poarch to blast Alice Cooper and Black Sabbath throughout his neighborhood. 'At-a-boy!
BARTENDER
Don first learned to tend bar at "New York, New York", Pat & Barney's place in Red Hook on the island of St. Thomas. It took some doing, but Don finally learned the recipes for a rum & coke, as well as a Budweiser. He was soon offered a job at For the Birds Restaurant, which he worked for a year and a half, before going full time with his band, Eden. He also worked at a German Restaurant and a gourmet French Restaurant as a Cocktail Engineer.
MANAGER
When Don relocated to California, he accepted a job as a live-in Manager for a 50 some unit apartment complex in Huntington Beach. This was a short lived venture, but it certainly served as training and as income until he could get his feet on the ground as a musician in California.
FILE CLERK
When Don first left Eden, he ventured into working in law offices as a File Clerk. This was great experience for Don to learn some of the ropes in law. He made many acquaintances with attorneys and the legal system during this period of his life. One of his dearest friends is a California Attorney, Dan Shapiro, Esq.
PET GROOMER
After meeting Jacki, the love of his life, Don began working with her in her grooming business, named "Groomingdales" - catchy huh? Being a self-employed business owner for so many years, and teaming up with Jacki in the pet business, Don was able to build upon a whole new aspect of his experience. The animal kingdom. Don & Jacki had a very successful business going of which Jacki had built up for many years. The couple were able to sell it off to Dr. Will Wiatt of Pet Hospital after the business hit a peak for the Panziks.
ESTABLISHMENT EXECUTIVE
After discovering the incredible workability of L. Ron Hubbard's administration technology, Don went off to Hubbard College to learn to be a highly skilled administrator. Don got fully trained as an Establishment Executive, which empowered him with the skills to not only run a successful business but to be able to train business owners, executives and staffs to form up powerful organizations. It is from this skill in which Don bacame known as a Management Consultant in his area. Don was even asked to serve as the Executive Director for the newly formed Hubbard College of Orange County, which he did during its inception. THERAPIST / HEALER
In 1999, Don and Jacki came upon an incredible technology which offers wonderful benefits to people in terms of restoring energy and improved body functions. It's done with Hyperbaric (above normal pressure) Oxygen Therapy. As soon as they went into this line of work, their statistics went sky high. The Panziks named their new line of work, OxyLife. As word of mouth spread very quickly, OxyLife had to expand their treatment area rapidly to service all of their customers. They then became sales reps for the manufacturer of the "Hyperbaric Chambers", which they are still successfully involved with. Don furthered his training in Kineseology and Radionics, which deal with energy managment.
GRAPHICS ARTIST
Don has spent much of his time working with graphic art programs and desktop publishing over the years. He did the promotional pieces for many of his businesses including Eden, Groomingdales, Natural Desires, OxyLife, Spotlight Events, Anaheim DJ and of course the Business Advisory Bureau, his business consulting firm.
AUDITOR, CONSULTANT & COUNSELOR
An Auditor is a practicioner in the feilds of Dianetics and Scientology. The term "Auditor" means one who listens. This is a highly skilled activity which requires much training. There are many benefits for those who get auditing. Life can be improved tremendously by taking advantage of this activity. There are many different levels in learning to audit, which are laid out as "Classes". Don is currently a Hubbard Dianetics Auditor and a Class II Scientoloy Auditor. In addition to these skills, Don has learned many other techniques to help improve people's lives. This training has also led Don to perfectly pass the standards to become an Ordained Minister of the faith of Scientology. Don is well known as a Consultant for the improvement of every aspect of life. Don can literally help anyone who wants to be helped! He also has his business consulting company named the Business Advisory Bureau, a name which he adopted from L. Ron Hubbard. Don was also asked to start a leg of the Hubbard College of Administration in Orange County, in which he and his team were able to help many businesses by training their staffs and executives.

RANCHER
Currently, as of 2006, Don and Jacki reside on a 5 acre ranch they purchased in Riverside, CA. 5 small acres is not a lot to take care of, but Don certainly has learned about the responsibilities of managing a small ranch. Visit Admiration Ranch
