Name That Guitar Riff – 44

Hey everybody. It’s Don again. We’re going to do another Name That Guitar Riff.

Today we’re going to do something that’s kind of on the country side of things. But, these days, country means Electric Guitars. You know back in the old days, electric guitars were like this “new fangled rock and roll instrument”.

So anyhow, here we go. I’m going to put this on the strat. See if you know what this is.

If you know what this is, put it in the box.

Name That Guitar Riff – 43

Hey everybody. Don here.

You I did a wedding last night (I’m a mobile DJ) down at Canon’s Restaurant in Dana Point overlooking the Dana Point Harbor, absolutely gorgeous view down there.

This song was on the bride and groom’s request list and it packed the dance floor as always (eye roll). This song never fails, you know unless it’s a really crappy crowd. Anyhow, here’s a huge hint on this song. Any DJ would know this. This is like THE #1 song being selected by brides and grooms around the country this year, and last year and the year before that. It’s the number one song! It’s always on the DJ charts. It’s a sure-fire dancefloor packer.

So let’s see if you know what it is.

BTW, there’s an awesome bluegrass version of this by Hayseed Dixie.

If you know the answer, put it in the box below.

Name That Guitar Riff – 42

Hey everybody. Don here.

I’m in a somber mood today. I’m going to play a kind of somber guitar thing. This is Name That Guitar Riff and a song from the seventies. I’m going to give you 4 notes. You should be able to figure it out in 4 notes.

If you know what it is, put it in the box. Love ya! Bye!

Name That Riff – 40

Hey everybody. I’m in a silly mood today.

I’d like to welcome you to Name That Riff. Today, I’m going to play something that’s not really a guitar song, but I’m going to play it on the guitar. If you can figure out what instrument it should be played on, that would be great – also the name of the song.

If you know what it is, pop it in the box… and have a silly day! Alright? We’ll see you tomorrow.

Name That Guitar Riff – 39

Hey, hey, hey

Welcome back to another day of Name That Guitar Riff.

This one, uh, I’ve never played before. I’ve kinda watched it on YouTube to try to figure it out. I’m very, very rusty, but…

Hopefully, I can play it enough for you to figure out exactly what it is. Okay, if you know what it is, put it in the box (below).

Name That Guitar Riff – 38

Hello everybody (body, body, body, body, body, body, body, body, body, body…)

Welcome to another day of Name That Guitar Riff. I’m Don. It’s nice to have you here.

Today we’re going to have a guitar riff on an electric guitar, without an amp. It’s not plugged in. Okay, see if you know what this is, here we go.

If you know what it is, stick it in the box (below) and we’ll see you tomorrow.

Name That Guitar Riff – 37

Hello everybody. I got a Southern accent… you know why? ‘Cuz I’m gonna do a song from Irland. This is southern Irland, I guess. (There’s your hint)

This is actually Name That BASS Riff, but we’re going to do it on a 12-string guitar. Okay?

See if you can figure out what this one is…

Name That Guitar Riff – 36

Got 12 strings on this one.

I’d like to welcome you once again to Name That Guitar Riff. This is Don.

And this song here, I think was originally done on a 6-string, and I’m going to attempt to do it on a 12-string. I’m really out of shape. I don’t know if I’m going to pull it off, but I’m going to try it anyhow.

Let’s see if you can figure out what this one is. If you know it, put it in the box below.

Name That "Guitar" Riff – 34

You may be wondering why I have a Marshall amp behind me while I’ve got an acoustic guitar. Do they go hand in hand? I don’t know… sure, why not.

Anyhow, this is Don. I’ve got another day of Name That Guitar Riff.

Today we’ve got a MAJOR hint and this is totally built in. Pretty much anybody would know this song that lived in the 70′s. So let’s see if you can figure out what this is.

Now, I don’t want to hear any jokes about squealing like a pig, okay? If you know what it is, put it in the box and we’ll see you tomorrow.

Name That Guitar Riff – 33

Hi Everybody. Don Panzik here. Welcome to another day of Name That Guitar Riff.

Today I’ve got my trusty Gibson J-50. I don’t know if you can see inside the hole or not but it’s a J-50. There’s the neck and the headstock. Anyhow, this is a very sentimental guitar to me When I was little, this was one of the first guitars I learned to play on. My first guitar was a 12-string that my Dad had, but this was his guitar as well and I ended up taking it to school with me all the time. It was like my buddy, you know. Some of my Farcebook friends my remember this guitar… who knows.

Anyhow, here’s a song I used to do a long time ago. I’ll see if I can remember it and play it for you. And if you can guess what it is, put it in the box below.
